Summary:
Come join the Sweetser team working as a Clinical Data Analyst!   This is a diverse role that will provide a system of support for the organization’s commitment to Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) based on a rational thinking, problem solving approach that utilizes data to support the need for change. In this role you will support leadership through the use of data analysis to meet the goals and objectives as defined on Sweetser’s Long and Short Term Plans.

This position is based in Maine and does not have a remote option.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Support leadership decision process by developing and delivering trend and outcome reports using organizational standard reporting tools.
• Identify, analyze, and interpret patterns and trends, assess data quality in complex data sets, and eliminate irrelevant data by working to identify and eliminate data integrity issues.
• Create and present program outcome reports of aggregated data in a statistically valid and user-friendly format for stakeholders.
• Work closely with management and leadership to ensure comprehension of statistical outcomes reports, charts and graphs.
• Ensure validity and reliability of reports through a solid understanding of the ECR system and workflows by collaborating with executive and program leadership, application support staff and HIS trainers.
• Define processes or workflows to collect data required to meet organizational reporting requirements by working with program leadership.
• Work with application development and support team to develop data resources and applications for data collection.
• Design and build executive dashboards to exhibit key performance metrics.
• Develop, collect and submit performance reports to state and/or federal regulatory agencies as required by contracts.
• Support the processes utilized to collect client satisfaction surveys and report on the results.
• Generate adhoc reports or queries.
• Continuously improve through the use of feedback from department customers.

EDUCATION:
• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Data Analytics or Health Information Systems or equivalent job experience.
• Maintains technical knowledge level through attendance in industry workshops and seminars, and other information media; e.g. webinars, trade periodicals, on-line discussion groups or internal resources.

EXPERIENCE:
• Three to five (3 to 5) years of outcomes reporting and data analysis experience; healthcare environment preferred.
• Experience with dashboard and report writing tools such as iDashboards and Crystal Reports.
• Experience writing and understanding SQL Syntax statements.
• Minimum of one (1) year experience and demonstrated skill in the use of computer software (including Electronic Health Record, Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office applications)
• Preferred knowledge of clinical assessment tools (CAFAS, CANS, PHQ-9, GAD-7, DLA-20, etc).
• Valid Driver's license.
