Therapist will utilize Trauma Informed Therapy practices, and other Best-Practice modalities, in the clinic-setting, to create and provide Mental Health and co-occurring Mental Health and Substance Recovery treatment interventions to produce positive outcomes in client functioning as a result of treatment.  Join Sweetser's existing team of clinicians providing services to our clients! 


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Provide customer service within established deadlines, consistent with organizational values, standards, and policies.

  •  Demonstrate leadership in Case-Coordination.

  • Complete timely, professionally written, documentation.

  • Manage insurance authorizations in a fiscally responsible manner.

  • Use quality Collaborative Documentation to maintain insurance required documentation.

  • Coordinate clinical appointments.

  • Use the Organization’s established tools and procedures, to formulate a Comprehensive Assessment. This includes, but is not limited to, the Level of Care and Risk, Assessment, involving family members, providers and natural supports.

  • Create clinical interventions in an Individualized Service Treatment Plan, reflective of industry standards of best-practice and Evidenced-Based Treatment, which accurately demonstrates that the client’s presenting symptoms. Clinician will demonstrate that the prescribed intervention, forms measurable functioning outcomes.

  • Demonstrate Trauma-Informed Treatment.

  • Provide Integrated Care by including the client’s Natural Supports and Providers.

  • Provide a clinical experience for student interns and conditionally licensed therapists, as appropriate.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

  • Demonstrates professionalism and collaboration with others
  • Receive and understand professional feedback from supervisors and colleagues and implement supervisory suggestions for performance improvement.
  • Recognize signs of increasing clinical or situational risk and of escalating behavior and utilize de-escalation and safety implementation techniques effectively.
  • Recognize variables underlying stressful situations, discern methods to diffuse or contain them and quickly implement the most effective intervention.
  • Manage multi-task situations and conflicting demands, cope with stressful situations, prioritize projects and responsibilities, and meet critical deadlines.
  • Maintains current knowledge in present practice area, i.e., attendance at required hours of organization educational programs and utilizes clinical supervision as a learning experience.
  • Use listening skills, flexible collaboration and a consistent problem-solving focus in working to resolve differences with colleagues, peers and clients.
  • Communicate ideas and opinions in a clear and constructive manner, both verbally and in writing.
  • Intermediate computer skills required.

EDUCATION:

Master’s Degree in a related field (Psychology, Human Development, Social Work, etc.)

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS REQUIRED:

LCSW/LADC preferred. LMSW-CC considered.
