Summary:

Sweetser is looking for a new Clinical Supervisor of our OPTIONS (Overdose Prevention through Intensive Outreach, Naloxone, and Safety) program! 

Provide clinical leadership, direction, and oversight of the OPTIONS program in the assigned district(s), while ensuring delivery of the highest quality of services to clients experiencing SUD/OUD. Oversee the day-to-day operation of the program, supervising program staff, supporting care coordination and integration of available services and resources on behalf of client.  Some direct service may be required, but the essential job duties are supervisory.  

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Oversees and coordinates day-to-day work of program staff to ensure responsiveness to client needs. Provides program clinical direction, education, and support to staff to ensure the delivery of the highest quality of care and efficient low barrier access to services.
  • Maintains up-to-date familiarity with best practice for SUD/OUD intervention and treatment to include harm reduction practices.
  • Fosters and maintains collaborative relationships with law enforcement, emergency medical services, and other community provider partnerships.
  • Provides program training, supervision, education, clinical direction, and support to staff to ensure the delivery of the highest quality of care, the maintenance of a safe and therapeutic service environment and the maintenance of client dignity and confidentiality in all service delivery.
  • Develops and maintains up-to date program information and resources guides.
  • Tracks and manages contract reporting requirements and deliverables.
  • Coordinates recruitment and hiring of direct service staff with the program manager and human resources department.
  • Evaluates staff performance through direct observation of clinical practice and feedback from staff, client and community providers and works to enhance overall performance.
  • Collaborates closely with Director around program needs and implements directives.
  • Provides leadership and promotes positive solutions in staff clinical, program, and administrative meetings.
  • Provides regularly scheduled and on the spot supervision to program staff and communicates supervision activities to program manager.
  • Supports operations of program within program budget.
  • Monitors high risk cases.
  • Provides coverage in areas where there are staff vacancies, vacations, or leaves.


EXPERIENCE: 

  • Three (3) years' experience in a behavioral health setting.
  • Supervisory experience preferred.
  • SUD/OUD service delivery experience required. 


EDUCATION

  • High School Diploma or Associate's degree accepted with appropriate licensure.
  • Bachelors preferred.
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently. 

LICENSURE:

  • Independent drug and alcohol clinical licensure (LADC) Independent or conditional social work or counseling licensing (LCSW, LMSW-cc, LCPC, or LCPC-c) considered with previous SUD experience.
  • Certified Clinical Supervisor licensure preferred.
  • Valid state driver's license.
