Summary:
Meets organization’s clinical and administrative responsibilities by supervising and monitoring community-based staff to assure optimal client outcomes.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Responsible for the hiring and onboarding of new staff along with the Human Resources and Training departments.
Assures organization standards by providing leadership to clinical and non-clinical Community-based staff.
Serves as the clinical lead for the Behavioral Health Home staff by providing clinical assessment of clients as needed, assigning clients and reviewing all documentation.
Meets regularly with staff and provides supervision, feedback, communicates performance expectations, and increases technical knowledge and skills. Facilitates the necessary steps to guarantee school-based staff meet productivity expectations which includes the monitoring of caseloads, scheduling of clients, completion of documentation, monitoring of productivity reports, and implementation of any necessary interventions to address productivity deficiencies. On a regular basis keeps Director informed of productivity outcomes and corrective action plans as needed.
Works with Director to identify, develop, and implement strategies that will grow Community-based services.
Ensures Community-based clinicians have received the proper authorization of service for each client and that clinicians are meeting and within the allowable guidelines of individual and family therapy.
Achieves financial objectives by assisting the Director in the preparation of annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; and initiating corrective action plans.
Collects and analyzes program data to support and improve client and service outcomes.
Ensures timely and accurate completion of Vista timecards.
Meets organization’s goals by promoting the ongoing involvement of children/adolescents and their families in the assessment process, development of treatment plans, monitoring the delivery of services, tracking the progress of children/adolescents and families served, and meeting the organization’s quality improvement and evaluation requirements.
Coaches Community-based staff by providing ongoing and regular review and evaluation of clinical practices, documentation, and administrative paperwork which includes but not limited to assessments, release forms, treatment plans, and progress notes.
Is change-oriented and able to generate and recognize creative solutions. Able to Identify and effectively respond to instances of resistance that Community-based staff may experience as a result of a rapidly changing environment.
Ensures staff are meeting all applicable timeframes, goals of the service plan, and deadlines.
Ensures that staff adhere to the values and principles of evidence-based practices and utilizes the appropriate clinical model for their service area.
Keeps Director informed by providing information relevant to service provisions, gaps in service, and overall program management.
Researches the delivery of Community-based services in other organizations and/or States. Incorporates any new knowledge by making recommendations to the Director to increase the effectiveness of the program.
Assists the Director to ensure the program meets quality standards by monitoring and evaluating service plan achievement and overall program success. Monitors the appropriateness and effectiveness of services and individual client progress.

EDUCATION:
Master’s degree in Social Work, counseling or closely related field with some concentration in family systems and family development required. 

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS REQUIRED:
LCSW or LCPC 
Maintain a valid state driver’s license

EXPERIENCE:
Two years of post-graduate clinical experience
Experience working with children (and their families) who have severe emotional disturbance, and/or mental retardation, autism or PDD preferred.
Experience with cooccurring (MH/SA) or substance use preferred
