Clinical Internship Opportunity! 

This internship provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the behavioral health field while working closely with a multidisciplinary team to support clients with mental health and/or substance use disorders.

 

As an intern, you will assist with a variety of tasks that will enhance your knowledge and skills in behavioral health practice, including client assessments, treatment planning, and/or crisis intervention. This role offers the opportunity to learn about evidence-based practices, develop your clinical skills, and contribute to the overall mission of supporting individuals in achieving better mental health and well-being. 


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Assist with intake assessments, screening tools, and client follow-ups under the supervision of licensed professionals.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality.
  • Provide supportive services to clients through group or individual sessions, as directed by licensed clinical staff, including psychoeducation and emotional support.
  • Observe and assist in implementing treatment plans and behavioral health interventions under supervision.
  • Assist with scheduling appointments, managing client caseloads, and helping clients navigate community resources and services.
  • Participate in team meetings, case discussions, and training sessions to learn about best practices and emerging trends in behavioral health.
  • Assist in identifying and responding to clients experiencing crisis situations, while following organizational protocols and procedures.
  • Support research initiatives and assist with data collection and analysis to help evaluate the effectiveness of behavioral health programs.
