Clinician - Outpatient Services (Saco/Sanford)

Summary:
Therapist will utilize Trauma Informed Therapy practices and other best-practice modalities in the clinic setting. Collaboration with other providers to ensure quality care is delivered.  
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Provide customer service within established deadlines, consistent with organizational values, standards and policies.
• Demonstrate leadership in case-coordination.
• Complete timely and professionally written intake assessments.
• Manage insurance authorizations in a fiscally responsible manner.
• Use quality collaborative documentation to maintain insurance required documentation.
• Schedule clinical appointments to meet the clinical needs of the client.
• Use organization’s established tools and procedures to formulate assessment. This includes level of care and risk assessments as needed.
• Involve family members and significant others as needed to establish a diagnosis.
• Develop an individualized service plan with the individual and natural supports.
• Offer trauma informed other best-practice clinical techniques and therapies.
• Identify concrete service needs and provide integrated treatment with the client’s natural supports and providers to demonstrate best-practice.
• Provide a clinical experience for student interns and conditionally licensed therapists as appropriate.

PRODUCTIVITY:
• Effective communication with management to maintain productivity expectations of 65% for 40 hours.

EDUCATION:
• Master’s degree in Social Work or Counseling with a concentration in clinical practice from an accredited graduate school.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
• Appropriate licensing certificate, LCSW, LCPC Independent preferred, conditional license considered if less than six months of required supervision remaining. 
• Maintain a valid state driver’s license.

EXPERIENCE:
• Persons with lived experience in the Mental Health and/or Substance Abuse system are encouraged to apply.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
• Demonstrated competence in discipline.
