Join the New England Eating Disorders (NEED) Program at Sweetser! This team is highly committed to the work that they do and to one another. With employees that have been committed to the NEED program for the length of their careers, working for NEED is a rare opportunity. This position allows the opportunity to work alongside a treatment team of expert eating disorder clinicians, dietitians, and nursing staff. You will have the unique opportunity to receive training in this highly specialized field.
A psychiatrist or a psychiatric NP for NEED at Sweeter is a key position that provides high-quality eating disorder treatment and assessment. The psychiatric provider would act as the leader of the eating disorder treatment team, would be responsible for maintaining an awareness of the overall medical condition of a client, and would be responsible for how best to coordinate with other medical professionals to best meet the needs of the client. The psychiatric provider has an important role in coordinating treatment to develop an overall successful treatment plan that addresses medical, psychiatric, and clinical issues. The psychiatric provider would have the opportunity to receive clinical supervision by Sweetser's medical director who has been with the organization for 25 years.
REQUIRED LICENSURE:Psychiatrist or Psychiatric NP (conditional licensure considered).
