Administrative Support Clinic

Summary:
Enhances organizational effectiveness by implementing administrative systems, procedures and policies, and by monitoring administrative projects and providing management support.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Verifies information by comparing information to original source and recalculating totals.
• Completes and revises documents by entering/typing data from source materials, recordings, and edited data.
• Re-verifies documents by proofreading and rechecking requirements.
• Maintains historical records by filing documents.
• Secures information by completing database backups.
• Provide telephone coverage and maintain basic security of records.
• Provides assistance to Health Care Services by providing labeling for medications, filing, and transporting students when required.

EDUCATION:
• High school diploma or equivalent.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
• Valid driver’s license.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
• Minimum typing speed of fifty-five (55) wpm.
• Knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications required.
• Knowledge of office procedures.
• Must have high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations. Position continually requires demonstrated poise, tact and diplomacy.
• Must be able to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization.
• Must have knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database and presentation software. (MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).
• Work requires continual attention to detail in composing, typing and proofing materials, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and demands.
• Persons with lived experience in the Mental Health and/or Substance Abuse system are encouraged to apply.
