Summary:

Responsible to create and deliver high quality training experiences for internal and external audiences.  Partners with subject matter experts to identify the outcomes and training modalities that will ensure performance improvement.  Responsible for serving as a secondary instructor for Sweetser’s electronic health record (EHR) to support staff to be able to document and communicate services.

Essential Functions:

  • Consults and collaborates with subject matter experts and business partners to create, modify, and implement training.
  • Coordinates new staff orientation including development and implementation of schedules and facilitation.
  • Is proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Facilitate trainings through a variety of delivery systems and schedules training rooms when necessary.
  • Processes and maintains financial aspects of external trainings such as those offered by the Sweetser Training Institute.
  • Supports live training workshops as needed.
  • Supports users on the learning management system (Relias).
  • For multiple programs and support department staff, assist in identifying learning outcomes related to electronic health record applications and deliver training.
  • Assist in ensuring EHR training is scheduled for new users that is appropriate for their position.
  • Serve as secondary EHR support for new staff.
  • Offer occasional trainings on weeknights and weekends.
  • Become a Safety Care instructor and instruct Safety Care trainings, both initial certification and recertification.
  • Occasionally travel to other Sweetser locations.

Education:

  • Associate’s degree preferred or at least two years of training experience.
Requirements:
  • Valid state driver’s license.
  • Must be able to speak, read and write English fluently.
