Sweetser is pleased to offer a comprehensive and flexible benefits program to our employees. We feel confident employees and their families will appreciate its value.

Our benefit-eligible employees (those who work 30 hours or more a week) who enroll for medical insurance receive medical contribution dollars from Sweetser each pay period to use towards the cost of their benefits medical plan.

Our fee-for-service employees are eligible for all benefits except for the FSA, and life and disability benefits.

Health Insurance
Three comprehensive health plans are offered, each with prescription drug coverage.

Dental Insurance
Our plan provides coverage for all types of services, with 100% coverage for diagnostic and preventive services, 80% coverage for restorative services, 80% coverage for basic restorative, 50% coverage for major restorative, and 50% orthodontia coverage.

Vision Insurance
Our plan provides an annual allowance and discounts to pay for eyeglass frames and lenses or contact lenses.

Life Insurance
•Sweetser pays for basic life insurance for our benefit-eligible employees and offers employees the option to purchase additional coverage up to five times the employee's annual salary.
•Dependent life insurance is available for legal spouses, qualified domestic partners, and dependents.

Short and Long-Term Disability Insurance
Sweetser pays 100 percent of the premium for short- and long-term disability coverage.

Health Savings Accounts
Offered to individuals enrolled in a Qualified High Deductible Health Plan. You can make pre-tax contributions to your HSA through payroll deduction and use the funds to pay for out-of-pocket qualified medical expenses.

Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA's)
Health Care Flexible Spending Account - annual employee contribution maximum of $2,600.
Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account - annual employee contribution maximum of $5,000.

403(b) Employee Savings Plan

This is an employee-contribution retirement plan. Employees may defer up to the IRS's annual allowable contribution level. After one year of eligible employment, Sweetser matches the contribution up to three percent.  The company match is subject to a four year vesting schedule.

Employee Assistance Program
Provides short-term counseling and referral for employees and immediate family members at no cost. Services are available 24-hours a day and provide for three free counseling sessions per concern.

Earned Time
Employees are covered by a generous earned time plan to use for personal, sick and vacation time. Employees accrue time immediately and can access their time as soon as it has accrued.

Holidays
Immediately upon hire employees are eligible for seven paid holidays per year.

Tuition Reimbursement/Continuing Medical Education Funds
After one year of employment, employees are eligible to receive tuition reimbursement for approved degree programs.
Physicians and nurse practitioners are eligible to be reimbursed for the costs associated with their continued medical education required to maintain their credentials.

Training Workshops
Sweetser employees are offered free attendance at workshops provided by its own world-class training institute, which hosts local, national, and international experts in the field of mental health.
