Applies the tools developed in their own recovery as well as the philosophy and values of Youth Peer Support to build a connection, consider worldview, maintain mutuality, and move towards goals with youth participants on the Child Assertive Community Treatment Team and the High Fidelity Wraparound Team. The Intentional Peer Support Specialist – Integrated Youth will collaborate, coach, and challenge transitional aged youth, 14-27 years of age in viewing life’s challenges as an opportunity for growth and change within each individual’s recovery process. This position works closely with a multi-disciplinary team, requiring the role to collaborate meaningfully while maintaining the boundaries of the Youth Peer Support Peer Connect model. The role of Intentional Peer Support Specialist – Integrated Youth requires someone between 18-26 years of age with significant experience with recovery from mental health challenges, substance use disorder, and/or life interrupting trauma. It also requires someone with a willingness to share and use that experience to support participants
