SCHEDULE: • Year-round, Monday through Friday school day hours.
JOB REQUIREMENTS: • Student Teaching in a self-contained classroom is preferred. • Experience in teaching life skills preferred. • Two to three (1-2) years of experience teaching in a Special Education classroom is preferred. • Personal characteristics and temperament suitable for working with persons with special needs. • Clean Driver's license. • Persons with lived experience in the Mental Health and/or Substance Abuse system are encouraged to apply.
EXPERIENCE: • Student Teaching in a self-contained classroom is preferred. EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: • BS degree in Special Education. • BS and eligibility for 282 teacher certification.
