Are you a Special Education Teacher seeking a Compassionate Career working in a specialized school for students with behavioral health needs?  Come make a difference our Belfast Sweetser School, supporting, building and growing our students!

$2,000 Sign-On Bonus

• Year-round, Monday through Friday school day hours.

• Student Teaching in a self-contained classroom is preferred.
• Experience in teaching life skills preferred.
• Two to three (1-2) years of experience teaching in a Special Education classroom is preferred.
• Personal characteristics and temperament suitable for working with persons with special needs.
• Clean Driver's license.
• Persons with lived experience in the Mental Health and/or Substance Abuse system are encouraged to apply.

• Student Teaching in a self-contained classroom is preferred.

• BS degree in Special Education.
• BS and eligibility for 282 teacher certification.
